inDrive has been on a journey for the past ten years, and now it’s time to pause for reflection, before we forge onwards. Hence the inDrive documentary, which tells our story so far: It’s been quite a trip, all the way from our origins in the frozen Yakutia winter, to becoming a bona-fide unicorn, active in more than 740 cities in 45 countries, with 3000+ employees, and counting...

We’ve covered so much territory, it could be an epic, and done so much, it could be an action- adventure. But if there’s one thing the movie is NOT, it’s a corporate case study (in case you were wondering). Instead, the inDrive documentary weaves together multiple individual stories, most notably those of some of the people whose lives inDrive has touched, in one way or another.

There’s Obadiah, in Nigeria, who struggles with a lack of opportunities in his community; in Indonesia, Itam is a father who loses his job during the pandemic; in Mexico, Lizeth is a mother and a former police-officer, who takes a new path; and in Kazakhstan, Anastasia has to leave her home due to war.

And then there are many of the people who have been with inDrive since the beginning, guiding us to our present status as the world’s second most downloaded ride-hailing app.

In other words, the documentary is strictly people-driven (just like us), and entirely inspirational.

Director Theo Papadoulakis has won more than 70 international accolades, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit - and you can see why.

(No, really, you can literally see why: the film is right here, available for you to watch online!)

inDrive wants to reimagine capitalism, no less: to put people back in control, restore their freedom to choose, and so make their lives better.

In the words of inDrive Founder and CEO (and now movie star) Arsen Tomsky: “We should focus on the path, on the journey. And if you do something important for you, that is very meaningful for you, and you develop an external environment during that journey, you are getting more and more with each step. And that is something which nobody can take from you. Even if you don’t reach a peak, you will have something available to you.”

And on that inspirational note - see you at the movies!
