In response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl, inDrive is taking a significant step to support the communities in Kingston. From Thursday, July 4th until Sunday, July 7th, the platform will switch off its service fee for all rides in the Kingston area.
“Our thoughts and hearts are with everyone affected by Hurricane Beryl. We recognize the immense challenges faced by our community members during this difficult time. This initiative aims to provide some relief and assistance to those in need, ensuring that mobility remains accessible and affordable”, expressed Roman Zhuchkov, Business Development Manager for inDrive in Central America and the Caribbean.
For inDrive, safety and community support are at the core of their values. The company is committed to connecting people through technology, helping them all to navigate challenging situations by ensuring they have a reliable means of transportation. “Drivers play a crucial role in the local economy, and we are grateful for their dedication and resilience. By waiving our service fee, we hope to support both our drivers and the broader community during this period of hardship”, concluded Zhuchkov.
inDrive stands together with Kingston and Jamaica, and will continue to find ways to contribute to the well-being and recovery of the local community.
