A haunted weekend is nigh, so it’s time to get your monster on: Whether you’re trick or treating with ghoulfriends, bogeying down to your local crypt, or just enjoying high spirits with friends and family, here are six tips to help you get home safely in the small hours.

Reveal your true self (complete your ID check): You’ll need to submit a real-time selfie (masks off, please!) and an official document like an identity card, passport or driver's license. This is to verify that your document is valid, you’re of legal age, and that you are who you say you are.

It’s a super quick, easy process, and will help keep our drivers safe – because the only scary people travelling with them should be you, in your best Halloween garb.

Re- hearse your movements – plan your trip: With all those ghosts, ghouls, witches and wizards on the move, you may need to factor in some extra waiting time.  Demand for rides can increase in the early morning hours, as all the vampires head home to their coffins (the sun will be up soon).

Where shall we three meet again? Choose a safe meeting place: Exits from nightclubs, bars, and parties tend to attract cars and pedestrians, and can get quite jammed. Try to request a ride from a well-lit, easy-to-reach location away from the most congested areas (so there’s less of the “double, double toil and trouble”).

Got the right ghoul? Confirm your driver’s details before getting in: Check that the license plate, vehicle model, and driver's identity match the info displayed in the app.

Don’t ghost your loved ones – share your trip: Send your real-time route to family or friends and don’t forget to register your emergency contacts in the app.

Stick with your pack – travel back together: By coordinating your return with your friends, you can split costs and enjoy the safety of your familiars.

So, don’t be a pumpkin. Follow these basic tips and stay safe on the scariest night of the year. May the treats be legion!
