Mountain View, California, 10 September 2026 – inDrive, a global mobility and delivery platform and the world’s second-most-downloaded ride-hailing app, today announced appointments to the leadership team of its expanding set of ecosystem services to meet consumer needs.
Raphael Zennou has been named inDrive's new Vice President of Food and Groceries; Max Silin has been appointed Director of inDrive.Ads; and Valentin Laykov has been promoted to Senior Head of Delivery, which includes Courier and Freight services. Rounding out the leadership of inDrive's growth verticals is Alexander Kurchin, who will continue to lead inDrive.Money, the company's financial services offering.
Raphael joins inDrive from Delivery Hero, where he helped lead quick commerce operations for 21M monthly customers across Asia, Europe and Turkey. At inDrive, he will lead the expansion of inDrive.Groceries into new markets and oversee expansion and delivery partnerships. Max, meanwhile, joins inDrive from Google, where he spent more than 11 years in senior roles spanning digital media, monetization and programmatic advertising. At inDrive, he will lead the continued build-out of inDrive.Ads, connecting global and local advertisers with the platform's engaged driver and rider community spanning 1200+ cities worldwide.
Valentin has held leadership roles at inDrive spanning Delivery business development across EMEA, Latin America and APAC, before taking on global responsibility across the company’s markets for courier delivery and freight as Senior Head of Delivery, while Alexander, who developed fintech solutions in e-commerce before joining inDrive and was at the origins of inDrive.Money, will also continue to lead the expansion of the vertical, which is helping gig economy workers access credit on fair terms.
The appointments highlight the strength of inDrive’s talent bench and the company’s commitment to diversifying its offering beyond ride-hailing, as it looks to offer fairer access to a broader range of essential daily services across its 48 markets of operation.
Andries Smit, Chief Growth Businesses Officer at inDrive, commented:
“As inDrive evolves beyond ride-hailing, our ambition is to make the platform increasingly useful in people’s everyday lives, while staying true to our mission of challenging injustice through fair choices. Groceries, deliveries, financial services and advertising each build on capabilities and relationships we have developed through our core business to create an ecosystem that addresses important needs in the markets where we operate. Raphael, Max, Valentin and Alexander each bring the operating experience we need to scale these businesses thoughtfully and adapt our offering to local demand, and I'm confident that, together, they'll help us create real value for our users, drivers and partners.”
inDrive's app is modular by design, with service offerings in each market shaped by local needs. Rollout of additional services beyond ride-hailing has shown inDrive’s diversification strategy is serving users on the platform: in 2025, 13% of the company’s monthly transacting users used both mobility and delivery services in the app. inDrive.Groceries, currently operational in Kazakhstan and Pakistan, gives people easy access to affordable everyday goods delivered to their door. inDrive.Ads connects brands with inDrive's large, highly engaged user base while generating an additional revenue stream that helps the company keep driver commissions and rider fares among the lowest in the industry. inDrive's deliveries vertical offers delivery and freight services to businesses and individuals across inDrive’s markets, while inDrive.Money enables drivers in LatAm and Indonesia to access short-term loans to help manage unexpected expenses and start building out their credit histories.
