We’re now operating in 888 cities in 48 countries; we reached a landmark 5 billion deals last September, 6 billion in February; and we were declared the second most downloaded mobility app for the third consecutive year (and made the top five in the travel category). And that’s just for starters.

Our country managers have stepped into their roles in several of our most important markets, including Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Kazakhstan, India and Pakistan. This is a big development; they’re tailoring inDrive to the specific needs and opportunities of each local market, so that we blend all the advantages of being a global brand with the power and insight of a highly localized one.

We’ve also celebrated several major launches: We recently initiated a new service in Brazil, enabling people to use our app to book bus tickets for 5000+ routes across the country, using 200+ operators, including Águia Branca, Penha, Gontijo, Itapemirim and Eucatur.

And having launched inDrive.Money in Mexico in early 2024, we’ve subsequently expanded it to Colombia, Indonesia and Peru. This gives our driver community access to emergency loans, and so brings a degree of financial empowerment to a group (gig workers) typically underserved by traditional financial institutions.

Our impact projects have been growing bigger and better: We recently held the fourth annual Aurora Tech Awards. This year, five winners were recognized, each of whom lead startups that have the power to make a major difference to people’s lives. These companies respectively provide AI-assisted medical training; promote early detection of diseases; match companies with female talent; develop sustainable nature-based building materials; and give financially underserved women in Africa access to services. They’re doing amazing things, and we want everyone to know about it.

Women have taken center stage in many of our projects this year. In Peru, we teamed up with Lady’s Car to help 150 women get their driving licenses, while in Mexico, we’ve partnered with Pro Mujer, a social enterprise that provides services and tools to help women reach their full potential. Our shared project, Viajes con Causa (Travel with a Cause) uses our ride-to-donate mechanism to raise money to equip more than 1,000 women with skills, knowledge and resources this year.

In fact, our ride-to-donate initiatives have been mobilising our passengers to raise funds for many important community projects globally. In Pakistan, they’ve been funding sports grounds for schools; in Malaysia, Morocco, Egypt and Indonesia, they’ve funded meals for people in need; and in India, they’ve supported underprivileged children through education, development programs & other children welfare initiatives. The list goes on, with each project supported by our passengers and dedicated drivers, who quite often get involved in a hands-on capacity to help distribute goods.

Our driver communities are full of people worth celebrating – so we did! In Mexico we commissioned the “Heroes of Mobility” urban art initiative, with murals painted by artists Tahnee Flor and Remix Uno showing our heroes at work.

Then in early December we held the second edition of the Alternativa Film Awards, our project spotlighting professionals from developing film industries. The winning films were announced at a ceremony at the Gelanggang Inovasi dan Kreativitas UGM in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

And speaking of winning films, our Inner Drive documentary has been on an extended winning streak since releasing in May 2024. It won four Dolphins at Cannes, and the Silver and Bronze awards for Social Justice and Branded Content respectively at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.

All this and more - there’s a lot to celebrate. So to all our dedicated teams around the world; the drivers, passengers, and customers who use our platform; and the amazing partners working with us to enable new services and continually improve our established ones, here’s to you: we couldn't have done it without you all!
