Many of the drivers who work through inDrive have whole other careers. After work, they drive people from A to B – to earn extra money, to meet new people, and to take a break from their usual routine. For one of our drivers from Uralsk, it’s all of the above. Here’s his story.
I’ve always known I need to give my all to what I do. What I never expected was that the road home would also become part of my job.
I work as a paramedic in Uralsk — that’s my main profession. Since graduating from medical college in 2019, I’ve been with the ambulance service, answering calls that can come at any moment. You never know what to expect when someone dials 103. Medicine runs in my family; it’s a tradition passed down through generations. For me, helping people was never a question — it was always the path.
At work, colleagues joke that I “have a lot of kids.” Over the years, I’ve helped deliver seven girls and one boy. I still remember one moment vividly: a father holding his newborn daughter, then handing her to me and saying, “This isn’t my daughter. She’s yours. You brought her into this world.”
Family is my anchor. Every time I return home, my daughter is the first at the door. She runs up shouting, “Dad!” — and in that instant, all the stress of the day disappears. Since she was born, everything has changed. I feel a deeper sense of purpose now, a real responsibility. My biggest dream is to see her happy, to remember every moment of her childhood, and to guide her to her own path in life.

When I realized a paramedic’s salary wasn’t enough, I searched for a second job that would give me freedom. That’s why I chose inDrive. My journey with the platform began back in college, when I didn’t even have my own car. I used my aunt’s once or twice a month. Slowly, it grew into something bigger.
Today, I still sometimes take rides with inDrive, after my shift is over. For me, it’s more of a hobby — a way to meet people, share small moments, and feel the joy of helping in a different way.
It’s another way to pass kindness forward. My goal is simple: help everyone I meet, make sure they arrive safely and on time. And maybe, if they reach home in a good mood, they’ll pass that feeling on.
It’s like a boomerang — the more you give, the more comes back. I truly believe that.
